Triple j’s new Mix Up Exclusives format

After five and a half years of sound tracking Saturday nights, Nina Las Vegas will be stepping back from hosting triple j’s House Party in order to concentrate on an expanded role on Mix Up Exclusives.

After a short break to travel to some of the world’s biggest music events, including Coachella and the Miami Winter Music Conference, Nina will return to host an hour of cutting edge electronic music, before presenting three exclusive sets from producers around the globe, each Saturday night from June 7.

Nina says: “I spend most of my weekends in clubs, so I want to make sure the radio I make reflects the absolute best of that. Mix Up Exclusives keeps getting better and better. In the last few months alone we’ve had exclusive DJs sets fromFour Tet, Cashmere Cat, Dillon Francis, Boys Noize, Ta-ku, RL Grime, Baauer, Brodinski and MK to name a few. I can’t wait to up the ante even more, focusing on the best sounds coming out of Australia and the rest of the world.”

Nina’s expanded role on Mix Up Exclusives means a new House Party DJ/producer will be taking over the decks. It has not yet been announced who will become the new host.
