This morning, Tom & Alex did dares for the entire breakfast show to see what generous listeners can spare for their national Syria Appeal.
It was chance to get creative and take radio dares to a whole new level in exchange for donating $$$ towards an important cause.


If you wanted your town to get a shout out during the weather or hear the news read in a crazy accent, listeners could get their dare on and help the appeal.

Here are some of the stunts listeners have pledged money for:
 
– Tom dressing in drag for the entire show ($400)
 
– Alex singing Mr. President‘s ‘Coco Jumbo’ in full ($50)
 
– Interviewing someone for 5 minutes without asking them a single question ($50)
 
– Re-enacting a scene from Ace Ventura ($50)
 
– Talking like Yoda for 30 minutes ($50)
 
and, we’re told, one or two others that are really quite embarrassing and the boys aren’t not really sure if they’re going to actually do them.
