Triple M Footy confirms 2020 NRL line up

Triple M is set to rock its 15th season of NRL with the highest reaching* commentary team on radio confirmed to make a return in 2020.

Triple M Footy will be led by Peter Sterling, Gorden Tallis, Ryan Girdler, Wendell Sailor, Mark Geyer, Emma Lawrence, Tony Squires, Paul Kent, Ben Dobbin, Brent Read and James Hooper.

They will be joined by play-by-play callers Dan Ginnane and Anthony Maroon.

Dead Set Legends (DSL), hosted by Wendell Sailor, Jude Bolton and Gus Worland, returns on Saturday mornings from 10.00am-12.00pm in Sydney.

DSL will roll into the Saturday Scrum at 12.00pm with Ryan Girdler, Emma Lawrence, Sterlo, Tony Squires and rotating guests, covering the latest rugby league news and providing the lead-up to Saturday arvo footy.

Then the Sunday Sin Bin with Paul Kent, Gorden Tallis, Anthony Maroon and James Hooper will dissect the weekend’s action, set the agenda for the upcoming week and provide the hype for Sunday afternoons live on the MMMs.

Head of Triple M, Mike Fitzpatrick, says, “It is with great pleasure we announce the return of our all-star NRL commentary team. A team who delivers breaking coverage both on and off the field with around 20 hours of Triple M NRL from Thursday to Sunday each week.

“The renewal of our five-year NRL radio rights deal at the beginning of 2018 reinforced our commitment to remaining the largest commercial radio broadcaster of the NRL. We are loved by men 25-54 and all people under the age of 70!

“Here at Triple M, NRL coverage is something we are passionate about, love doing and, most importantly, something we are good at. I’d also like to make a special mention of our partners who are back on board with us for 2020, without them our broadcast wouldn’t be possible.”
