Triple M’s ‘Footy Jumper Friday’ is back for 2010 with the national event set to take place on Friday April 16.
Australians are encouraged to donate money to the Fight Cancer Foundation by visiting www.triplem.com.au for the right to wear their footy jumper to work, school or wherever they may be.
All major Australian footy codes are included – AFL, NRL, Super 14, A-League – and a fundraising ladder will show which teams are raising the most money around the country.
Footy Jumper Friday is a chance to band together with mates or colleagues to raise money for the amazing work of the Fight Cancer Foundation, a national charity that gives hope and a second chance of life to cancer patients.

AFL Collingwood President and Triple M Hot Breakfast Host Eddie McGuire says “Footy Jumper Friday is a sensational way for Australian’s to show their love of footy in a tangible way that will see money raised to help the Fight Cancer Foundation continue with its incredible work.
“Wouldn’t it be fantastic to see most of the country wearing their footy jumpers on Friday April 16?
“Melbourne loves its footy so come on AFL fans, get on-board, let’s see who the best team is in this country by putting our money where our mouths are. This is the only competition that sees footy teams from all codes competing against each other, and I can tell you I want to see Collingwood at the top of that ladder,” says Eddie.
Footy fans can donate as individuals, form a team, find their club and even join teams formed by their favourite on-air Triple M talent.
The Fight Cancer Foundation’s objective is to provide care, treatment and support for cancer patients and their families and fund research into finding a cure, better treatment methods and early detection tests. Help their mission by getting on board with Footy Jumper Friday.
