The Triple A sales formula

Peady’s Selling Engagement sponsored by IRD Prospector

Welcome to this week’s post on sales and selling success.

And I’ll keep it short.

Attitude, aptitude and altitude

The great sales motivational speaker Zig Ziglar said: It is your attitude, more than your aptitude, that will determine your altitude”. Old Zig makes it sound so simple.

But maintaining a positive attitude is sometimes hard to do.

For sales people developing and maintaining a positive mental attitude requires controlling your thoughts. There is plenty of negativity and gloom in the market place so it’s easy to tune in to that type of thinking.

Selling can be tough particularly when you start hearing a lot of “no’s”; but highly successful sales professionals don’t allow temporary setbacks to define them. That’s what makes them highly successful.

How do they do it?

I believe the common thread among the sales elite is an infectiously positive outlook.

An optimistic outlook?

Optimism is more than having a positive mental outlook. The effect of optimism on your customers cannot be understated.
Fact is, optimism or positive energy brings about a level of ease in the mind of customer making it so much easier to make decisions.

Optimism is contagious!

Richard Branson’s “take”
“Positive people don’t just have a good day; they make it a good day”

Until next week good selling!
