Triple Y hoping to set some records with their radiothon this Friday

On Friday Community Radio 107.7 Triple Y in Whyalla are holding their annual radiothon, this time hoping to beat their 24-hour record.

Kiara Brown is going to be doing a 30-hour marathon with other announcers, as they raise funds for the local men’s health organisation INATT (I’m not afraid to talk).

INATT are a support group for males of all ages, a judgement free and safe space to help males through everyday struggles.

Kiara’s dad, Leroy Brown, set an onair marathon record of 27 hours back in 2012 with the breakfast team at KRock, Geelong, and says, “I couldn’t be prouder of Kiara’s effort. The apple doesn’t fall to far from the tree. She’s always looking to make a difference in someone’s life whether it be big or small”.
