Perth 92.9 fans were treated to an exclusive rooftop performance of The Veronicas.

The Brisbane twins, Jess and Lisa Origliasso, world premiered the previously unheard and unrecorded song Mad Love.

The song is about ‘being in love with someone so much that it makes you really angry,’ said Jess in introducing the song.

‘Like you shouldn’t be with them and it just frustrates the hell out of you basically. So it’s called Mad Love,’ she added.

The song will be off their new album slated for release next year titled Life On Mars, their first in five years, with Hook Me Up being the last one they released in 2008 which was nominated for two ARIAs.
