He’s been a hard man to get a hold of (and fair enough too, what with the election and all) but Jonesy & Amanda finally had the chance to speak with Prime Minister Turnbull this morning.

Like many FM radio shows, Jonesy & Amanda have been trying to get the Prime Minister on their show for weeks but their determination and launch of ‘Malcolm Watch’ – asking listeners to call in with their PM sightings – paid off.

The PM told them about how he has been battling the flu the past few days before giving his views on gay marriage, the economy and life on the campaign trail.

Amanda also asked him about his stance on renewable energy and the PM was keen to debate her about Australia’s stance on this topic.

Meantime KIIS 1065’s Kyle & Jackie O continued their tradition of getting a ‘psychic animal’ to predict the outcome of the Federal election.
 
The KIIS 1065 team spared no expense with a huge image of Malcolm and Bill to help Custard the cow make her choice.
 
And it didn’t take long for Custard to decide – Bill Shorten will be Australia’s next Prime Minister!

“I’ve heard of more scientific methods, but I’ll take it!!” Mr. Shorten said of the Jersey cow’s prediction.
