Nova 100’s Meshel & Tommy purchased their promo guy’s abandoned 1992 Mercedes Benz 190E and gave it new life by transforming a hunk of junk into the Dream Machine.

Today the Dream Machine’s journey will come to end at an unknown destination.
 
The Dream Machine has received some unique panel beating, a new paint job and an interior overhaul (fluffy dice, animal print steering wheel cover and Playboy seat covers) getting it ready to share with the people of Melbourne. Meshel & Tommy organised for Sarah and Emma to experience a chauffeured night out at Croydon’s Dorset’s Garden Hotel, Daisy’s in Ringwood and a Maccas drive through. Jane created a special memory for her son Angus’ 16th birthday, the ultimate trip to Chadstone shopping centre, while John got a lift to his cage fighting training in Narre Warren.
 
After a few anxious days trying to secure insurance, Tommy tested the Dream Machine’s capabilities at Sandown, hitting the track with mentor Kevin from Driver Dynamics – check out the action.

In the meantime Meshel & Tommy’s Producer Liza hit the Hume Highway this morning in the Dream Machine. Her aim – to see how far North she could travel on one tank of petrol with listeners competing to guess where she will break down.
