Wippa runs up Heartbreak Hill for good cause

Nova 96.9’s Wippa from the Fitzy & Wippa breakfast show has successfully completed his seventh City2Surf in Sydney today. Wippa, along with his wife and two young sons Ted and Jack, were running to raise awareness for the Cooper Rice-Brading Foundation.

This is a foundation close to Wippa’s heart, as the CRBF aims to raise awareness about Sarcoma, a rare and complex cancer of the bone, cartilage or soft tissues such as fat, muscle, connective tissue or blood vessels.

The Nova Street Team, the Casanova’s, were also in full force during the race – with words of encouragement from the sidelines up Heartbreak hill, complete with a nova96.9 Chill Zone at Bondi Skate Park, A toastie truck with proceeds donated to The Hunger Project, complete with a coffee cart serving complimentary coffee.
