Workdays on Nova 100 set for a change in 2017

Following the launch of Nova 100’s Chrissie, Sam & Browny show in 2016, which saw an additional 100,000 listeners tune in to breakfast, Nova’s workdays are now set for a change, with Greg Burns and Dan Cassin joining the team from Monday 9 January.

The programs will be networked into Nova Melbourne from Sydney’s Nova 96.9.

Paul Jackson
, NOVA Entertainment’s Group Program Director said, “2017 is set to be another huge year for Nova 100. The show that everyone is talking about, Chrissie, Sam & Browny, will return in breakfast. With Kate, Tim & Marty, Australia’s most listened to Drive show, at the other end of the day, and two world class announcers joining the team for our workday, we can’t wait to get cracking.”

Greg Burns is one of the UK’s most well-known and accomplished broadcasters. Having hosted the number one Drive show on Capital Radio for eight years, Greg joined Nova 96.9 in mornings in July this year. He is currently hosting Summer Breakfast with Zoe Sheridan while Fitzy & Wippa take a break over Christmas. Greg is also an award winning comedian and will appear at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival next year.

Dan Cassin has over 17 year’s broadcasting experience, across multiple radio networks, and joined Nova 96.9’s day time line up in July 2015. Having hosted a number one FM morning show, Dan is currently heard in afternoons on Nova.

Peter Colosimo, NOVA Entertainment’s Melbourne General Manager said, “Jaben and Sarah Maree are both talented broadcasters. We would like to thank them for their passion and contribution during their time with Nova and we wish them all the very best for the future.”

Greg Burns will join Nova 100’s workday line up from 9am with Dan Cassin from 1pm, Kate, Tim & Marty will return to Drive and Smallzy’s Surgery in evenings from Monday 9 January. Chrissie, Sam & Browny will return in breakfast from mid-January.
