Changes at 2ST and 949 Power FM:

Glenn Ellard (pictured right) will replace Katrina Condie as roving news reporter. Glenn is an experienced journalist who was a media advisor to former member for Gilmore Ann Sudmalis, was deputy editor of the Riverina Herald, editor of the Milton Ulladulla Times, and a senior journalist at the South Coast Register.

Peter Andrea has been appointed to the position of breakfast journalist, and most recently has been working in the Riverina area for the ABC, and prior to that was chief of staff for WIN Television in the Central West of NSW and also in Townsville, and was deputy chief of staff at WIN in the Illawarra.

Abby Hopkins from SCA on the Central Coast has been appointed to the position of Power breakfast announcer / promotions manager. Abby joins Andy Sands in breakfast after Kaley Baker left to go to Star Mackay to fill a maternity position a few weeks ago.

Lachy Perry (pictured below) is the new production manager / Power workday announcer. This is Lachy’s first full time position in commercial radio, but he has had work experience as a producer at KIIS, and 2SER. He completed the full time AFTRS course last year, and has a Bachelor of Sound and Music Design from UT in Sydney.

General Manager Gavin Flanagan told radioinfo: “We are bringing in a great mix of youth and experience, and we look forward to welcoming them all over the next few weeks.”
