Local Radio Manager, Tasmania and the position will be advertised shortly. In the meantime Cath Hurley will continue to act in the position.

Danielle Perrett has been appointed to the position of Program/Music Director at Now FM, Moree. She replaces Ryan Khay who is heading to Darwin as MD/Drive Announcer on Mix 104.9.

Angela Clark has been appointed CEO of Macquarie Media, taking over from George Buschman, who will relinquish his position to work with Virgin executives to establish new FM stations in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. As part of a major restructure, Louise Barrett, Macquarie Sales' Director, will also be Network General Manager. Merryn Vincent, Operations' Director, will resume this role after maternity leave. Jason Staveley will be Program Director for Nova's new Adelaide station. As launch day draws closer, Mel Van Deventer has been appointed Promotions and Marketing Director, and Deane Goodwill will be Nova's Agency Client Manager.

Gerry Nyein has departed from Mix 104.9 in Darwin - he has moved to Perth. Ryan Khay is his replacement as the new Music Director/Drive Announcer. Leroy Brown departs Hot 100 on Friday, April 2nd to take on Breakfast at Star FM in Bendigo. His replacement is Simon Dawson from RG Capital on the Gold Coast

Mark Hine has resigned from The Edge 96.1 FM after almost seven years with the Sydney station. He finishes up on Friday 23 April. Breakfast co-host, Jo Abi, is due to go on maternity leave in a few weeks, but will return in about three months. Lee Bevington will cover breakfast in the meantime.

Dave Nicholson, Senior Announcer/Producer at Voice International and host of Planet 30, will leave the Sunshine Coast to take up the position of Program Director at ‘92nine – the Light’ in Toowoomba on April 19.

Former 2Day FM star, Wendy Harmer, hasn't given up early mornings entirely. While taking time off this year from radio, Harmer has signed up for Channel Nine's Today show, with a regular segment featuring tongue in cheek tips for women.

Triple M in Sydney will soon have a new Music and Assistant Program Director. Mickey Maher will take up the role on Monday 29th March after finishing up duties at 92.9 FM in Perth. Leigh Kuhlman will continue as Assistant Music Director and Announcer.

After 38 years in commercial radio, 2GO/SeaFM creative writer, David Wicks, is leaving the industry to open his own CD/movie shop in the Newcastle area. Wicks has had stints at many stations, with the past eight at 2GO/SeaFM. His commercial writing, production and voice work has won numerous Raward, Queensland Time Club Goldie and Golden Stylus awards and nominations.
