The Australian Radio Network has filled the role of Group Director of Sales, left vacant when John Williams became General Manager of Sydney stations, MIX 106.5, WSFM and The Edge 96.1. Tim McDermott is the appointee.

Hitz FM Bundaberg drive announcer/music director, Michael "Moffee" Moffett is making the move to South Australia, taking on the role of Program Director and Breakfast Announcer at Magic 105.9 - Port Pirie's hit music station.

Suki Mead and Rob McCasker will replace Luke Bradnam and Emily Jade O'Keefe on Hot Tomato's breakfast show. Luke Bradnam will remain in Breakfast focused on sport and Emily Jade O'Keefe moves onto the 12-3 afternoon shift.

Nova 96.9 has made some changes to its on air lineup. Afternoon presenter Kip has moved to nights and will be teamed up with Lizzy Lovette, and night announcer Andy G will swap shifts, moving to afternoons to replace Kip.

Following 5 years at 2NZ as afternoon "Jukebox" host Peter Hale returns to his home state of West Australia, and DMG's Radiowest 6KG Kalgoorlie.

Andy Park has accepted the role of Afternoon Announcer and Assistant Music Director for Fox FM Melbourne. Brian Ford said: "Andy has held down the shift since just before Christmas and really made it his own. It's a great example of taking the opportunity and running with it."

Shandra Moran has been appointed Nova 969's APPD - Assistant Programming and Promotions Director. The new Promotions & Marketing Director will be Lisa Lees who has previously worked for Austereo in Melbourne, Hobart, Perth, Brisbane, Malaysia and Sydney. Lisa, who is currently working at Communicator Interactive Marketing will commence work at Nova 969 on March 15.

Prue McSween is now doing PR work for 2GB after severing ties with 2UE after a recent fill-in shift. She is hoping to do some on-air shifts for 2GB as well as the station's PR camapigns.

Brett Clark (ex 96.1fm The Heat Noosa) has been in Townsville for the past 14 months, taking on the role of Night Annoucer with DMG's Northern hub. He started as the station floater, launched the night show, moved to breakfast at 4GC Charters Towers for a number of months, and is now back on the 'Nightshift with Clarky' across the QLD Heritage Network.

Matt Paton returned to Commercial Production at the dmg Townsville Hub in September last year, after a stint at Triple M Sydney. He has now moved into the position of Network Image Producer for both the Hot FM and QLD Heritage networks.

There is lots of movement happening up in Darwin...Verena Power has resigned as the Producer for Hot 100/Mix 1049 in Darwin, she is being replaced by Chris Neave from Magic 105.9. John Keetels from Triple M Brisbane is the new announcer at Hot 100. Both commence on March 1st.

Chris "Nugget" Neave and Sam Morsman have resigned from Magic 105.9 to accept positions in Darwin. Michael Wifli is also leaving the station. GM Stuart Endersby says that they are currently looking for announcers including a PD and a news reader/brekky co-host. See the ad in Radio Industry Job Market.

On Friday it was announced at 2GB that Trevor Long had been appointed Assistant Program Director, to work under John Brennan, and head up the production of the station's Olympic Coverage.

Trevor began his radio career in 1995 at 2GB and has been working with Ray Hadley for the last 3 years. He moves off the Morning Show to take on the new role, but retains his role as producer of the Continuous Call Team.

Janyne Tooze (formerly Laws Producer, then Philip Clark - Drive at 2GB) joins the Ray Hadley Morning Show as Executive Producer after the departure earlier this year of Emma Jolliff.
