After 34 years at Aunty, The ABC’s Director of Regional & Local, Michael Mason, farewelled the corporation on his last day. He'd worked in Sydney, Canberra and Adelaide and managed the ABC’s Local Radio and Regional networks as well as ABC RN, before becoming Director of Radio in 2014 and then Director of R&L at the beginning of this year following the corporation’s internal restructure.

ARN have settled on a summer line-up. KIIS 1065 in Sydney and KIIS 101.1 in Melbourne will have the KIIS Summer Break, featuring a range of announcers including GordieJoelMitch Churi and Kian along with great music across the day throughout December and January. 97.3FM in Brisbane will have Daniel Thomas for breakfast which will include best of Bianca, Mike & Bob followed by Louise Pool and Phil Dean during the day. In Adelaide Mix 102.3 will feature Michelle MurphySteve MurphySimon Mitchell and Ally Ricci across the day throughout December and January. 96FM in Perth will feature The Best of Paul & Lise for breakfast until Dec 14 followed by Mark PascoDoug TerryGeoff Watts and Rebecca Jones throughout December and January.

WSFM will feature The Best of Jonesy & Amanda for breakfast followed by announcers and great music throughout the day for December and January. WSFM will also air Jonesy & Amanda’s Christmas Countdown special, counting down their 30 favourite Christmas songs, from 3-6pm on Christmas Eve and 6-9am on Christmas morning. GOLD 104.3 will feature ‘Better Music and More of it, all Summer Long’ throughout the day for December and January. CRUISE in Adelaide and 4KQ in Brisbane will feature a range of presenters and great music throughout December and January. The Edge 96.One will feature a range of presenters and music across the day including NatZannonJimmy and K-Sera during December and January.

3AW’s John Burns is reportedly close to signing a new contract to continue alongside Ross Stevenson in breakfast at 3AW.
 
In October Stevenson signed a long-term contract and while there was speculation in April that Burns may not continue as co-host, it appears no longer to be the case.
