ONE of Fairfax Radio’s on-air stars was at the centre of a fiery clash with management that ended in the network’s Perth boss issuing a heartfelt email to staff pleading with them to band together in tough times. 6PR and 96FM general manager Martin Boylen urged workers to "stop looking backwards and blaming the past for the problems we have today" in a confidential memo to staff obtained by The Sunday Times. Mr Boylen’s email came after a heated all-staff meeting fronted by Sydney-based Fairfax Radio chief executive Adam Lang turned into a "a massive all-staff showdown", according to sources.
