ABC radio host defends Angry Boys talkback session

The level of cross-promotion on the ABC of its own shows and ABC stores has been questioned after Sydney morning announcer Deborah Cameron devoted nearly 30 minutes of her show to the ABC TV series Angry Boys, which has seen its ratings dive, says The Australian.

Academic and former newspaper editor Michael Gawenda said "I think there is over-promotion of ABC programs on the ABC." Cameron told The Australian she had been interested in her audience’s opinions on the show after watching Wednesday night’s episode.
