Fairfax Media has confirmed its chairman, Roger Corbett, will not ask to be re-elected again in three years’ time, when he will be 75, and will step down at the "appropriate time" during his term. "Mr Corbett has informed the board if he is re-elected at this AGM, it is his intention not to stand for re-election for a further term in three years when he comes up for re-election again," said the notice of the annual meeting of the media company, publisher of The Australian Financial Review, The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age.
