Public Radio International and PRX, an audio and podcast platform, have announced they expect to merge by the end of this year.
The resulting public media company is expected to reach a monthly audience of more than 28.5 million over both broadcast and digital channel.
Kerri Hoffman, currently CEO of PRX, will be the CEO of the new entity. She says “This merger intensifies our focus on helping creative producers and institutions build audience and grow revenue.”
