Thundering voice presented ‘teasers’ for many films

DON LaFontaine, who was known as the "King of Voice-overs’, recording more than 5000 film trailers, television commercials, network and video game promotions, has died in a Los Angeles hospital from an undisclosed illness. He was 68.
