What started as a crowd funding experiment has turned into a charity drive for Sydney community radio station 2SER.
Using Pozible, 2SER was hoping to supplement the fees it received during it annual Supporter Drive with some crowd funding, which would’ve been put back into transmission equipment.
However, when the station found out that the transmitter of another comunity station up at Lake Macquarie had been burned down in the fires, as reported by radioinfo here, the kind hearts at 2SER decided to turn the campaign into a fundraiser to help Lake Macquarie FM instead.
The 2SER supporter drive finished last week, however anyone who wishes to support the station can still do so here.
