Alan Jones Speaks at Abbott 10 Year Bash

2GB breakfast host, Alan Jones, has been a keynote speaker at another Liberal gathering – this time marking 10 years in Federal Parliament for Tony Abbott.

Somewhat downmarket from John Howard’s recent 30 year celebration, where Jones was MC/host, about 600 people paid considerably less ($100 a head) to honour the Health Minister at Sydney’s Manly Leagues Club.

Among those at the gathering were new PBL chief, John Alexander, Wayne Gardner, Phillip Ruddock and Bronwyn Bishop.

Tomorrow, Jones will be busy with 2GB colleague, Ray Hadley, at a huge charity day at Randwick golf course.

Jones will slot in as guest speaker, Hadley will be the auctioneer, and they will be joined by a number of high profile rugby league names to raise money for Bondi’s Wairoa School for children with disabilities.
