The ABC is inviting applications for a new member of the ABC Advisory Council to perform the role of Advisory Council Chair.

Apart from chairing the Advisory Council meeting, the chair will also meet with the Chair of the ABC Board, Ita Buttrose and Managing Director David Anderson, to discuss the Councils workplan as well as overseeing the guiding recommendations.

The Advisory Council provides advice to the ABC Board on matters relating to the Corporation’s broadcasting programs.

Members are chosen for their ability to represent a wide range of community attitudes and are appointed by the Board of the ABC.
