Bob Rogers’ 88th birthday

Bob Rogers celebrated his 88th birthday at 2CH this morning with a bingo themed birthday cake.

Bob has been working in radio for 72 years, starting in 1942 as a panel operator for 3XY Melbourne at the age of 16.

Since then he has been a presenter on 4BH, 2UE and 2SM before moving to 2CH in 1995.

He also had a five year run in television, presenting The Bob Rogers Show on the Seven Network.

Bob continues to present mornings on 2CH, Monday to Friday from 9am to 1pm.

Bob Rogers is a national treasure and an Australian radio icon. We wish him a very happy birthday here at radioinfo!
