Radio industry stalwart, Bob Rogers, has reportedly broken down on air while talking about the death of a teenager in a car crash.

According to The Daily Telegraph’s ‘Sydney Confidential’, a friend of the 2CH morning presenter’s granddaughter was killed in the accident.

Rogers apparently was talking about the tragedy yesterday morning, when he became overwhelmed with emotion.

His producer says the show cut to a song, before returning to a different subject.
