Bob Rogers’ last interview to air on ABC TV’s I Was Actually There

Before legendary radio broadcaster Bob Rogers died in May he was interviewed for an episode of the ABC TV program I Was Actually There, about defining moments of Australian history through the eyes and voices of those who were present. Bob’s episode is about The Beatles’ visit to Adelaide.

The Rogers’ family said he really enjoyed the experience and the producers were lovely, patient and very professional with him, but sadly he didn’t get to see the completed episode.

Bob’s final interview is part of episode four of the series, and will air on Tuesday July 30 at 8:00pm. It will be available afterwards to watch on demand at ABC iview as well and as a podcast.

With thanks to 2RRR‘s Brian Crabbe for sharing this information with Radioinfo and to the ABC and I Was Actually There team for this photo from the interview.
