Cricket continues live from India on ABC Radio

Australia’s Four Test Tour of India will be broadcast live on digital radio station ABC Extra, online and via the ABC Radio app.

Join Grandstand’s Gerard Whateley, Alister Nicholson and Prakash Wakankar with experts Simon Katich, Dirk Nannes and  Aakash Chopra live from India and experience every ball of every test on mobile, online and digital radio.

Starting at 3:00pm AEDT Thursday 23 February, Australia will take on India in the Four Test Tour and ABC Grandstand’s Gerard Whateley, Alister Nicholson and Prakash Wakankar will provide ball-by-ball coverage live from each ground.

Expert commentary will be provided by former NSW Captain and Australian opener, Simon Katich and former Australian and Dutch international pace bowler Dirk Nannes, both returning from a successful summer series, along with former Indian opener Aakash Chopra.

“It’s a tremendous honour to take Grandstand Test Cricket back to India following in such a grand tradition of broadcasting from the subcontinent.” Said Gerard Whateley.

“The sounds of past Test matches from this part of the world are so easily recalled. It will be wonderful to have the chance to add to those anew.”

“And given the significance of what’s about to unfold for Australian cricket it is especially timely.”
