Cyber Shack, a CBN Media brand, is finalising development of an Australian portal for PSP users that will go live at the end of the month – another sign of converged portable media devices.
PSP.CyberShack.com will allow PSP owners to view the Cyber Shack website in a resized format and access all the competitions, text editorials and downloads that thousands of PC users currently enjoy.
Video content that includes Cyber Shack reviews, previews, walk throughs and publisher game trailers will be available for saving to the PSP memory stick in a format that is optimised to watch on the PSP. Archives of the Cyber Shack radio show will also be available for download.
Cyber Shack’s commitment to the PSP platform will also include the addition of PSP title reviews, previews and news on the CyberShack.com and PSP.CyberShack.com sites.
These developments are a movement by CBN Media to increase the portability of the Cyber Shack brand and its accessibility into new platforms.
The PSP.CyberShack.com portal will feature targeted advertising to visitors and PSP focused competitions.
Managing Director, Charles Brown told radioinfo: “Cyber Shack is many things to gamers and technology buffs, and now it’s portable thanks to the multimedia power of the PSP. Cyber Shack’s plans for the PSP platform will develop along with its take up by Australian game enthusiasts”.
The Cyber Shack is dedicated to bringing exclusive content on our PSP channel and we’re aiming to pass on our expert gaming and technical knowledge to the portable gaming masses. With fresh content updated daily on all things PSP, the portability of the PSP is a massive bonus for our website visitors and listeners who can download the Cyber Shack radio show and listen to it anywhere, anytime,” CBN’s Media Content Manager, Ryan Shaw said.
