David Rymer resigns from Triple M

Triple M Sydney program director David Rymer has resigned and plans to do some travelling.

Rymer has been with the Austereo network since leaving ARN’s Mix 106.5 in 2001 and was nominated for a ‘Best PD’ ACRA in 2006. He has worked as a PD for Austereo in Perth and Brisbane, as well as Sydney.

Austereo is believed to be talking to a few people about replacing Rymer, but a final decision has not yet been announced.

Meanwhile, former Austereo staffer and, more recently, Nova PD Scott Muller left his role as Program Director of GCap Radio’s Capital 95.8 London in December. radioinfo understands Muller’s name is one of those on the short list to replace Rymer.
