4BC Drive presenter Ben Davis has thrown himself out of a plane to raise money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
 
Despite the nerves, the radio host was motivated to take the sky diving challenge for his daughter, Mackenzie, who suffers from Type 1 Diabetes.
 
“If our 7-year old daughter, Mackenzie, can have up to 7-needles a day to stay alive — and never complain — then jumping out of a plane’s no big deal,” said Ben. 
 
The decision seems to have paid off after he raised $12,460 for the Foundation.
