Ego: The Michael Gudinski Story to premiere August 10

Hot off the heels of the success of John Farnham: Finding the Voice, Mushroom Studios have announced the documentary honouring their late chairman, Ego: The Michael Gudinski Story, will premiere at the Melbourne International Film Festival on August 10, 2023, with cinemas nationally on the 31st.

 

Directed by ARIA and AACTA Award winner Paul Goldman, Ego takes the audience behind the scenes at Mushroom and Frontier Touring, and features stars like Dave Grohl, Ed Sheeran, Jimmy Barnes, Paul Kelly, Kylie Minogue, Bruce Springsteen and many more.

The documentary comes as Mushroom celebrates its 50th anniversary this year. Tickets go on sale on May 25.
