EON Sports Radio launches new Football show

EON Sports Radio will this week launch a dedicated Saturday afternoon football show to take the game to a passionate fanbase across the country via radio.

Since its launch in July, EON Sports Radio has looked to deliver a quality radio product for football fans.

This offering includes all five live A-League games per week, five live Premier League games from TalkSport in the UK per round, and a one-hour show on Sunday from 11am (The Football Factory).

They believe the introduction of Four Four Two Saturday, a partnership with the iconic football magazine in this country, gives the game a huge boost on free to air media.

This 2.5-hour program will be dedicated entirely to football with a heavy focus on the A-League and growing the competition through informed discussion, thoughtful interviews, and analysing the action.

Host Ollie Geale, EON Sports Radio football editor Ben Cuzzupe, and A-League great Clint Bolton will be the regular members of our Four Four Two Saturday team.

Dylan Leach, the head of live sport on EON Sports Radio, will produce the program.

This week’s show will start from 5pm (AEDST) before settling in at 3pm (AEDST) as a staple of the football fan’s weekend.

Guests locked in for the opening episode include – David Gallop, Terry McFlynn (Sydney FC) and Bill Papastergiadis (South Melbourne FC).
