Melbourne Fox FM breakfast duo Fifi Box & Dave Thornton this morning celebrated the launch of Australian Open 2015 tickets going on sale, with a fan of the show pocketing ten thousand dollars thanks to a winning return of serve.

Fifi & Dave’s 10k serve saw 20 year old Rebecca Nichols leave the tennis court 10k richer, after returning a serve from 22-time Grand Slam doubles champion, including nine Wimbledon doubles titles and Olympic Gold medallist, Todd Woodbridge. 

For Todd’s warm up, the pro aimed serves at Fifi and Dave, neither who were able to successfully return the ball across the net.

Rebecca on the other hand (one of 600 hopeful entrants) having not played tennis in over six years and using the same tennis racquet she had in her first year of high school, returned a high lob against Todd’s serve that landed in, resulting in the 10k prize. All in the name of celebrating Australian Open 2015.
