Gold FM’s SUNS Army March to Metricon

Gold FM’s Drive Host Bianca Dye will be leading a Gold FM SUNS Army of local supporters as they march united from RACV Royal Pines into Metricon Stadium this Saturday to show their support for the Gold Coast SUNS.

After negative comments from Brisbane Lions legend Leigh Matthews regarding the Gold Coast SUNS, Gold FM has decided to get the locals behind their team and join with celebrities and fans and proudly support their team on mass.

Gold FM’s Breakfast team, Richard, Bridge & Spida are supporting the March to Metricon along with Mayor Tom Tate and the Gold Coast SUNS mascot Sunny Ray.

92.5 Gold FM, and the SUNS Army, will be converging at RACV Royal Pines from midday and the March to Metricon will commence soon after.

Bianca Dye is happy to lead the charge,

“As a proud Gold Coaster myself, I thought we should all get behind our very own team when they need to see that sea of red at Metricon more than ever! I hope to see an army of SUNS fans on Saturday March into Metricon with us – let’s do this GC!!”

Gold FM’s Breakfast Host, Spida Everitt, agrees,

“It’s about the community getting behind our local national teams. Through the good times it’s easy but we need to remember that the tough times are the most important times to unite and show our support… no matter which sport.”

The Gold FM SUNS Army will march together from RACV Royal Pines at approx. 12.20pm and will proceed along Ross St and onto Nerang-Broadbeach Road. The SUNS Army should arrive at Metricon Stadium between 12.30pm-12.45pm through Gate 1.
