The confession came out during a segment on Gold 104.3 based on “the line you’ve used to end a relationship” after last night’s episode of The Bachelorette when Georgia Love said with trembling lip to ousted contestant Courtney Dober “I think you should go now”.
 
Jo Stanley then admitted that Rove McManus had used a line on her after they’d had a “one-night dalliance” back in the 90s.
 
“We all knew each other from stand up, it was before he was on telly, and we were all doing stand-up, back in the heyday, when your only worries were if you’d get a laugh that night…. And who you’d spend the rest of the evening with.
