Kyle and Jackie O’s $5 million dawn dig hits the sands of St Kilda

KIIS 106.5 and 101.1’s Kyle & Jackie O’s $5 Million Dawn Dig is happening in the sands of St Kilda Beach from 6am on Friday April 11 and for stay-at-home mum Alicia Thomas from Mernda Victoria the outcome might be life changing.

Out of hundreds of hidden sandbags, only one holds the ultimate $5 million jackpot.

On Thursday morning April 10 Alicia was told that she had been selected to dig for the jackpot. Her partner of 16 years was recently made redundant, leaving the couple and their 2 kids to move in with her grandparents due to the rising cost of living.

The Kyle & Jackie O Show will be broadcasting live from St Kilda West Beach with hundreds of listeners also expected to join in for their chance to dig up exclusive prizes in the Second Chance Dig, with prizes ranging from international holidays, diamond jewellery and other prizes.

To make it the ultimate Melbourne beach party, Kyle & Jackie O will be bringing some friends along to get the party started including comedian Dave Hughes, and performances by the Australian Idol 2025 winner Marshall Hamburger and Amy Shark.
