With a wedding and a pregnancy announcement, it’s already been a huge year in the personal lives of Brittany Hockley and Laura Byrne.

Today, Britt and Laura are celebrating yet again, with their Life Uncut podcast surpassing 100 million downloads (and yes, you read that correctly – 100 MILLION).

Britt and Laura launched Life Uncut in 2019. Since then, it has cemented its place in the local podcasting scene, building a loyal community of ‘Lifers’ who tune in each and every week.

Nothing is off limits during Life Uncut, as the duo navigate friendships, relationships and dating.

Britt says “To reach 100 million downloads on something we just love so much, are so passionate about and created ourselves just feels so surreal and like a dream come true. Every day we get to laugh, cry, meet incredible people and tell incredible stories.  I get to wake up and do my dream job alongside the biggest, most amazing community of lifers. And I get to do it alongside my best friend and the small but mighty group of women that work alongside us, are you kidding me!?  I pinch myself constantly. Here’s to another 100 million downloads!”

Laura says “I still remember when we hit our first 10,000 downloads and how beyond excited we were about the community that was growing around Life Uncut – The Lifers. To think that number has now hit 100 million downloads is nothing short of surreal. We are so incredibly proud of what we have created, of the conversations we get to have, of the friendship Britt and I have forged together and the incredible community that has grown with us over the past 6 years. We also want to say a big thank you to our wonderful Producer Keeshia Pettit who is a literal podcasting angel and to every single Lifer who has listened to an episode and laughed, cried and muddled through life alongside us.”
