It’s a tough way to reach a concert crowd but while others play sports arenas British pop diva Lily Allen’s been doing small venues for her biggest fans.
On Saturday afternoon she played an intimate iHeartRadio LIVE event for just 60 fans and media at Sydney’s Marquee at The Star.
Then, that night lil’ Lily sang for 200 guests, backed up by dancers and a full live band, for 2Day FM Breakfast’s Lily’s Laneway Party at The Standard Bowl in Surry Hills.
Hosted by the breakfast show’s Sophie Monk and Merrick Watts, the event saw celebrities including Luke Jacobz and Home and Away’s Philippa Northeast, Cassie Howarth, Lincoln Younes, Demi Harman and Jessica Grace Smith treated to their favourite tracks from the artist.
In the Brooklyn Bowl inspired setting, the uber cool event featured a six song performance by the English singer-songwriter, including tracks Not Fair, Smile, and her new single Sheezus.
