Lizzo scores the top debut on the latest AirCheck National Radio Airplay Chart with ‘2 Be Loved (Am I Ready)’ landing at No. 20. The singer is also on top of the charts with ‘About Damn Time’ continuing its reign for a fourth consecutive week.
‘2 Be Loved’ garnered 338 spins from 22 stations. Nova provided the most support with a combined total of 182 spins across the national network. CADA (25 spins) and B105 (19 spins) were also behind the song.
Nova also had their say in another chart debut, this time from Joel Corry & Becky Hill. ‘History’ enters at No. 31 with 231 spins (167 from Nova). The debut marks Hill’s third song to feature in the current Top 40 alongside ‘Remember’ (No. 11) and ‘My Heart Goes (La Di Da)’ (No. 37) — only Ed Sheeran can match Hill’s three entries.
Former airplay chart-topper ‘Dreams’ by Jolyon Petch bounces back this week with an influx of extra spins. The song moves up nine spots to No. 28 with a gain of 61 spins (+31.9%). Adelaide’s Mix 102.3 led the charge with 17 spins. ‘Dreams’ is on its 70th week at radio, notching over 31,000 life spins.
