Lunar New Year celebrations on SBS

SBS welcomes the Year of the Rat with a range of programming across network, encouraging all Australians to celebrate Lunar New Year with a distinct mix of programs and activities launching across the network from today.
SBS Director of Audio and Language Content, Mandi Wicks said: “SBS is committed to celebrating Australia’s multicultural events, encouraging all Australians to embrace our rich diversity.
“We’re thrilled to be marking Lunar New Year with a season of special programming across the network.”
During Lunar New Year festivities, SBS Radio broadcasters will be out in the community attending events across Sydney and Melbourne. Visitors can meet the faces behind the voices of SBS Radio’s Mandarin, Cantonese and Vietnamese language services and capture all the fun at the SBS Radio photo booth.
