Mix re-sign Chrissie and Jane for 2014

ARN has today announces that Chrissie Swan and Jane Hall have extended their contracts with Mix101.1 and will continue on air in 2014.

There have been many recent changes in breakfast radio, but Mix is holding on to its two golden girls.

Chrissie Swan said: “It is such a privilege to wake up Melbourne each day and I am honoured to be able to continue what we do each morning. Not only do I get to spend the morning with my good friend Jane, but I get to interact with the most remarkable people who make the show what it is, our amazing listeners. I can’t wait to get back for many more laughs”

Jane Hall said:  “I have one of the best jobs in the world and am so delighted to come back in 2014 with my friend Chrissie to keep on doing what we do best, talk. We’ve had some amazing times here at Mix101.1, and I can only imagine 2014 will be just as wonderful.”

Chrissie and Jane kicked off the very first all female breakfast show back in 2012 on Mix101.1 and have laughed, gossiped, and talked their way through 395 shows to date.

The breakfast team have had some big moments with many superstars joining them for a chat including One Direction, Jason Derulo, Joel Madden, Olly Murs and Rebel Wilson. One Direction’s Niall recalls their chat in 2012 as “still my favourite interview ever” and even told Jane he loves her.

Chrissie and Jane frequently hold listener competitions and support drives for good causes. Recently the duo undertook an eBay Celebrity Auction to raise money for the inspiring mother Mandy McCracken who lost her limbs to disease. The girls changed one listener’s life when they presented them a Salsa’s store and another listener recieved over the keys to a brand new home.

Chrissie and Jane will return to Mix101.1 Breakfast Melbourne, and the 3pm Pick-up across the MixFM network nationally in 2014.
