Nat Tencic to host triple j’s The Hook Up

Nat Tencic will be jumping in the hot seat to host triple j’s sex and relationships show.

After paying her way through Uni by writing Sex Ed units for high school textbooks, Nat graduated to hosting The Naughty Rude Show on Melbourne’s community radio station SYN FM.

Following that, Nat also completed a two year stretch at ABC News and Radio Australia, reporting on sex and queer issues, including sexual health, domestic violence and gender equality.

In 2015, Nat joined triple j and has undertaken roles from producing and presenting triple j Music News, to stints hosting triple j Lunch and working behind the scenes as an integral member of the triple j Unearthed team.

Nat said “So excited to be taking over The Hook Up for some steamy Sunday nights.

“I’ll be talking more weird, queer and kinky stuff in the bedroom, answering your questions and creating a safe, positive space to express your every problem, desire and interest. Let’s turn this hook up into a long-term thing.”

Behind-the-scenes of The Hook Up is producer James Findlay, who has a Master’s in Public Health (Sexual Health).

Listen to The Hook Up live on triple j from 9pm Sunday 4 February or subscribe to the podcast.
