ARN has congratulated its 8 ACRAs winners at this year’s 27th annual Australian Commercial Radio Awards.

ARN’s National Content Director Duncan Campbell said:

“It has been another outstanding year for ARN and I am thrilled to see Kyle and Jackie take home the best on-air team award, it’s a testament to their talent and the whole KIIS team’s dedication to producing fun, engaging content that their audience loves,” he said.

“We have an exceptional pool of talent across all areas of ARN, so it’s great to see these people and teams recognised for their work by the industry. Laura Viglino is an incredibly talented producer and to take out the Best Producer award two years in a row for her work on WSFM’s Jonesy & Amanda In The Morning is well-deserved.

“Investing in talent across the company has been key to ARN’s strategy for growth across the network, and it’s proving extremely successful with key wins tonight from on-air and production teams through to marketing and sales.”

Kyle & Jackie O were named Metropolitan Best On-Air Team (FM)  at this weekend’s awards. Of their win, Jackie said: “It’s always great to be recognised by the industry as the best on-air team. We’ve been working together for 15 years now, we absolutely love what we do and we love working with our amazing team at KIIS.”

“We love our listeners and it’s important to us to give them the most entertaining show possible. People always say it’s just nice to be a finalist, which of course it is, but let’s face it, winning is the best! Especially when there’s a great party thrown in. Thanks everyone,” added Kyle.

The Kyle & Jackie O Show also took out the award for Best Station Promotion for the Kyle & Jack Give Back Wedding, which featured a surprise live performance by international superstar Ed Sheeran.

For the second consecutive year, Laura Viglino was named Best Show Producer (Entertainment/Music) for her work on WSFM’s Jonesy & breakfast show.

Brendan “Jonesy” Jones and Amanda Keller also took home Best Syndicated Program for their national weekly show My Generation produced by Authentic Entertainment.
