Nine Radio has responded to the Australian Communications and Media Authority regarding compliance with the Broadcasting Services (Commercial Radio Current Affairs Disclosure) Standard 2022 (the Standard).
Nine Radio confirmed to the ACMA that the commercial registers of 4BC, 2GB, 3AW and 6PR are up to date with respect to all relevant commercial agreements and that commercial registers are updated on a regular basis to ensure continuous compliance with the Standard.
Nine Radio said that it takes its disclosure obligations seriously, and will always be transparent with the ACMA and listeners as required under the Standard.
The response comes after Jacqui Felgate became the new 3AW Drive host and her commercial partnerships were not immediately updated on the 3AW website as required.
