As regular Breakfast teams take a well-earned break, the Nova Network has announced Susie O’Neill is returning to the airwaves as part of the Mel, Matty & Susie O’Neill show.

From Monday, 14 April to Thursday, 24 April (excluding public holidays), the new show will be broadcast nationally across the Nova Network.

Joining the Olympic swimming great are Mel Tracina from Nova Workdays and Matty Baseley from Star 104.5, a duo familiar to listeners after previously co-hosting Nova’s recent Summer Breakfast show together.

Since saying goodbye to Nova 106.9 Brisbane Breakfast last year, Susie has remained a much-loved part of the Nova Network family.

She says “It’s fantastic to be back on air with Nova. While I can’t say I’ve missed the early mornings, I’ve definitely missed connecting with listeners. I listened to Mel and Matty over summer and can’t wait to join the fun.”

The team will be giving away daily tickets to Lady Gaga’s Australian tour.

Also making a return is the quiz segment ‘Smarter Than Suse’. Originally a Brisbane favourite, the game is going national, giving Aussie listeners the opportunity to test their general knowledge against Susie for the chance to win five hundred dollars in cash every day.
