NOVA Entertainment has set the record straight on rumours of a plan involving its Sydney Breakfast team, reportedly geared at stealing some of Kyle & Jackie O’s loyal listeners.

The network has shut down suggestions Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Ritchie might extend their show by hour, to finish at 10am instead of 9.

Addressing reports in Yahoo Lifestyle and The Daily Mail, Nova’s official response is “The stories in The Daily Mail and yahoo.com are incorrect.”

“We won’t have any further comments on it.”
