Entries for the 2017 Awards will again be driven through the Radio Awards website.
As with previous years, entrants will be required to register as a user at www.radioawards.co.nz and follow an easy step by step process for submitting an entry.
There are a number of changes this year of note.
One new category has been added to Best Content section. This new category is Best Creative Feature which is to recognize a one-off feature, programme or an outstanding piece of creative radio.
Best Radio Website has now been renamed to Best Digital Engagement to allow the entry to encompass all platforms of digital and social media. This can now be located under Best Promotion section.
A new written submission Template will need to completed for most categories and the aim of this is to make the entry process easier for all our entrants and provide a simpler and more standard process for Judges.
Radio Industry Awards Committee Chairman, Jana Rangooni says “the success of the 2016 NZ Radio Awards has seen an even greater interest in these awards. We are looking forward to the 2017 award entries being a wonderful chance to celebrate the range of talented people in our industry all over NZ”.
The 2017 NZ Radio Awards finalists will be announced on Tuesday April 18th with the winners announced at the Awards ceremony on Thursday June 8th.
