With much of the 60% of Queensland drought affected farmers at their backdoor, River 94.9 is coming to the rescue – and calling on listeners to do the same!

Last month was the second hottest July on record  in Queensland and the driest since 2002. So, River 94.9 has teamed up with Porters Plainland Hotel and Schulte’s for a huge River 94.9 Barn Dance to raise money for Buy a Bale who are providing direct help to our farmers in this terrible situation.

Not only will Barn Dance goers be treated to a live performance by the amazing Caitlyn Shadbolt... there’ll also be a huge family fun day with even more live music and entertainment, with heaps of family-friendly activities.

River 94.9’s very own “auctioneer extraordinaire” Campo will raise money through a stack of onsite auctions during the afternoon, and River’s Marnie & Hinksy will broadcast live from the event.
