Ron Camplin tells Ray Hadley about his 67 years in radio

Ron Camplin was 15 years and 8 months old in 1948 when I started his radio career at 2CH in Sydney.

The station was in the AWA Building, which was the tallest building in Sydney at the time.

Ron’s company bought 2BS in 1969, and this week he invited Ray Hadley to broadcast from the 2BS studios to help Bathurst celebrate its bicentenary.

“For as long as I can remember I wanted to be in radio,” Camplin told Hadley.
