At the close of Week 1 of Roy & HG’s Mardi Gras of Medal’s the Aussie sporting legends remain the #1 podcast in the country.
This week’s highlights have included:
Day 1: Roy and HG kicked off the Mardi Gras of Medals by announcing that it was ‘Dick Pound Day‘. They also tackled serious diplomatic matters now that Australia is officially at ‘Twitter’ war with China and investigated the source of Australia’s shooting excellence. Listen here.
Day 2: The boys offered their congratulations to the New Zealand Women’s Rugby 7s Team on a fine achievement of a silver medal this morning. Although the achievement was significantly lessened by the fact none of the Kiwis were born on ANZAC Day. Listen here.
Day 3: The 3rd day of the Mardi Gras of Medals, or as it’s more commonly known: Kibah Tic Toc Day. It was 38 years ago on this day that the famous Olympic showjumping champion was born. Listen here.
Day 4: Their reaction to Kyle Chalmers Gold Medal swim: Listen here.
Day 5: At the end of week 1, Rampaging Roy and HG celebrate Dawn Fraser Day and demand nothing less than a Royal Commission from Malcolm Turnbull after neither of the Campbell sisters medalled today. Listen here.
Roy & HG return on Monday, August 15, for another week of action from under the five rings in Rio, only on Triple M, the official FM broadcast partner of the 2016 Olympic Games.
